As soon as you have agreed an ideal date for your Civil Marriage or Civil Partnership and agreed it with us, you must contact the Deben Registrar. The Registrar will come to Bawdsey Manor to conduct the ceremony. A fee is paid directly to the Registrar.  The Registration of Civil Marriages or Partnerships must take place between 11am and 6pm.

The ceremony will be held in the Great Hall which is registered to seat up to 84 people.  You and your guests can gather in the Green Room before the ceremony.  The ceremony can be followed by champagne and canapes in the Green Room or by a fully seated or buffet Wedding Breakfast with evening dancing and entertainment. 

The Bawdsey Manor Wedding Suite includes the Great Hall, the Green Room and the Manor Dining Room.   A courtesy guest room is available during your booking as a changing room for the Bride and Groom.
