Weddings Days You may choose to spend your whole day with us. The Wedding Suite, comprising the Great Hall, the Green Room and the Manor Dining Room will be available to you for the whole day from 11am to 11.30pm. As a courtesy, one of the fine Manor Guest Rooms is offered to the Bride and Groom for their use during the day and overnight. You and your guests can gather in the Green Room before taking your places in the Great Hall for the Ceremony itself. The Great Hall is licensed for up to 84 people. After the Civil Ceremony guests return to the Green Room or Dining Room for champagne and canapés. The Green Room opens onto the South Terrace offering wonderful opportunities for photographs, with the Deben Estuary and Bawdsey Estate in the background. Whilst this is happening, staff will put the finishing touches to your Wedding Breakfast to be served in the Manor Dining Room. Our own catering team will provide first class catering for the occasion. You may have the use of the Wedding Suite for the remainder of the day and you may wish to invite additional guests to an evening entertainment. We are happy to help you to plan for this. Wedding Weekends You may like to spend your Wedding Weekend with us. We offer up to 15 Guest Rooms and Student Rooms for an additional 20 guests in the Manor for guests arriving on the evening before the wedding. During the Weekend, some of the sports facilities on the Bawdsey Estate are available, by prior arrangement, for your use. The Wedding Suite, as well as the Billiard Room and TV rooms, will be available to you for the weekend.
