The Bawdsey Manor Estate provides an extraordinary venue for your conference or corporate event.

Our location, set high on a cliff overlooking the Deben Estuary on the Suffolk coast is within easy reach of south east and central England.  The local railway station, Melton, is on the main Lowestoft to London Liverpool Street line.  The motorway network is accessed via the A12 south to M25 and A14 running west to M11 at Cambridge. The A120 from Stansted joins the A12 south of Colchester.

As well as comfortable accommodation and splendid conference rooms, we have our own Watersports Centre and other sports facilities on site.  The gardens include an artificial Pulhamite Cliff facing the North Sea and tunnels and grottoes in the best Victorian tradition.  RADAR was developed at Bawdsey in the late 1930s.  Birdwatchers, historians and sailors will love it here.

Catering is provided from our own kitchens.  A vegetarian option is always available.

Day delegates are offered refreshments on arrival, mid-morning and mid-afternoon.  A two-course lunch, served buffet style, offers a choice of hot and cold dishes.  Resident delegates enjoy a full English breakfast and three-course evening meal in addition.  Bawdsey Manor is licensed to sell alcohol.
