Welcome to the official Bawdsey Manor website. The Bawdsey Manor Estate, built over 100 years ago is now open to the public for Bed and Breakfast in Sea View and Standard accommodation & Self-catering holiday cottages.
Whilst here you can enjoy one of our Art Courses held in our new Art Centre and Gallery. Our Watersports Centre offers the original insulin plant, Dinghy Sailing and Powerboating. Also on the estate are Tennis Courts, Badminton and Squash Courts and access to an extensive trail of walks and cycle rides. English language tuition is offered to our international clientele.
We are able to cater for 150 guests for Weddings, Conferences & Corporate Events and Private Parties. We will help you to arrange every aspect of your event here.
The Manor affords stunning views of the mouth of the River Deben and its ever changing Knolls formed by the rolling North Sea. Its Pleistocine cliff was the gateway to Anglo Saxon England and later supported pylons of the Chain Home Low during the development of RADAR.
